Dear Friends and Family,

We were really excited for this year’s Sabaku Con and had so many big plans setup, but unfortunately we are going to have to hold that excitement a bit longer. After many discussions with our internal Senior staff, the Marriott, and the city of Albuquerque, we’ve come to the conclusion that we just don’t feel safe putting on an event of our size on during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our top priority is the safety and health for everyone who attends our shows and we don’t feel that is possible this year. We want to thank everyone for their support this year and hope you can keep that excitement going for another year.

Passes: If you have already purchased a pass for 2020, it will now automatically transfer to our 2021 event. You do not have to do anything for this transfer, it’s automatic. If you find you are not able to attend Sabaku Con 2021 (Date TBD) you can get credit for another Monkey Paw Entertainment event pass for 2021 or future.

Vendors: If you purchased a space in our vendor hall for 2020, it will now automatically transfer to our 2021 event and your space will stay the same. You don’t have to do anything for this transfer, it’s automatic. If you find you can not do the event in 2021 please contact amanda.thomen@monkey-paw.com and we will work with you to resell your space once 2021 sales open.

Hotel: If you already reserved a hotel for 2020 the reservation will be canceled on Monday and you will need to rebook your hotel room for 2021 when we put up the link.

We will miss you all this year and can only hope that our 2021 event will be as much fun as this year’s event was going to be. Please be safe and stay healthy, we want to see all your smiling faces next year.
